\nWhere are we going\/ waar gaan we heen…?<\/p>\n
Well, on Saturday, November 25, 2023 we will organize a conference in The Hague to celebrate 20 years of URI Netherlands and look at the future of Women’s Rights.
\nWe would like to invite you to join us as a guest.<\/p>\n
What is the intention?
\n– to offer a program with various lectures and workshops on the theme ‘Women’s Rights’.
\n– there will be a small market with stands with information from various organizations involved in human and women’s rights<\/p>\n
The program:
\nHanna Mitra Rambaran opens our conference and Artie Narain from the Brahma Kumaris will provide the spiritual opening.
\nKeynote speaker: Lenne Baboeram, GroenLinks The Hague, is speaking about Women’s Emancipation
\nWe are also very pleased that Ari van Buuren, Bart ten Broek, and Morgana Sythove will be looking back on 20 years of URI Netherlands, with a special focus on Annie Imbens, one of the founding members of URI NL who was already a strong advocate for the role of women.<\/p>\n
Our afternoon ends with an interactive session, “In dialogue” – with the Women’s Group from Amsterdam led by Sheela Vyas & Arti Narain and Carola Goodwin. Three women with different experiences with womens rights. Through various conversations and dialogue we want to inspire people and help them think about ‘where are we going?’; what is needed to direct our focus and energy in the coming years?

The location: Podium B<\/strong>, Fifth Floor Openbare Bibliotheek, Spui 68, 2511 BT The Hague
\nIt is fully accessible by wheelchair.
\nBy public transport: The Hague CS is 5 minutes away by tram – 2-3-4 or 6, or within 12 minutes walking distance.
\nTime: 1:00 PM – 4:30 PM
\nEntrance: is free, but a donation is always welcome!<\/p>\nRegistration is necessary due to checking the number of visitors:
